Miliband speaks to Wales !

I see David Miliband is to speak at the IWA 21st Anniversary Dinner on the 16th of October, either he was a late entry or they haven't had much response as I had a flyer on it in another post I had.
Why is Mr Miliband taking time to come and woo us down here I wonder, could it be a step on his Leadership ladder?
Its joint do with Cardiff Business Club ,so I wonder what he will speak on - unfortunately I cannot afford the £50 per head to go to find out, or should that read fortunately.
Wonder if he has told Rhodri he is on his patch that night.
