Is he Out -he is in real touble

Reports tonight point to Rhodri Glyn Thomas being asked to leave his post as Culture Minister. He and IWJ were due at the opening of the Kyffin Williams Gallery on Anglesey, they have both withdrawn, Elin Jones is deputising.
IWJ is meeting Rhodri G,and several other senior Plaid Cymru figures are heading to meet too. This is being reported by Vaughn Roderick on BBC Radio Wales.
Has he gone one step to far- the incident with a member of staff at the Eli Jenkins pub in Cardiff Bay is just another example of a gaff by this questionable minister.
I have been told by several people that he often drinks a few too many on social and semi social occasions.
He has not been an effective minister and has done Plaid no favours , will IWJ and the Plaid seniors sack him , or will he get a smack on the hand and told to behave.
I think its time another member of Plaids AM cohort has a chance at Ministerial government
Rhodri Glyn maybe a little abstinence may help.

Everyone in Plaid knows he is a piss head, how he got to be a minister is a mystery, the mans a liability ask the inner sanctum of Plaid
IWJ is his friend thats the bottom line

The future of Welsh Culture Minister Rhodri Glyn Thomas appears to be in serious doubt.

BBC Wales understands he has told colleagues that he "does not expect to be in his job by the end of tonight".

agree Tomos, he was probably pissed at the welsh book awards, its difficult to care that he been sacked bet Labour are rubbing their hands.

He wasn't actually pissed at the book awards, nor was he sacked for the cigar. I suspect that by Sunday lunchtime, we will know a little more.
He was always a risk and IWJ showed a lot of loyalty to give him a post. It's a shame that he didn't return that loyalty and I'm afraid that he only has himself to blame.
Assuming Alun Ffred gets the job, then WAG will lose a fool and gain one of the sharpest minds in the Senedd, with an understanding of business, media, the language and with a great dry sense of humour. He was unlucky not to get a post the first time and is more than a match for any Labour equivalent.

Alun Ffred? One of the sharpest minds in the Sennedd?

If that's the best that we can muster, we're doomed Mr. Mainwaring, we're doomed.

Actually we're doomed anyway, at least until we get rid of the WAG.
